Our three days toubkal trek from Marrakech is a good option for those who want to relax for another night after the climb.
We take you to over 4000 meters above sea level at the highest peak in all of North Africa! The first day w:ill be from Marrakech to Imlil & up to the basecamp You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:30 am, and we drive to Imlil valley which is 65 km away from Marrakech. It will take 1:30 drive. once we get there, we will meet our local team, then we set off trekking towards the basecamp. There will be a stop for lunch in chamharouch shrine, and then up to the basecamp for overnight. The next day, we climb up to the peak of mount toubkal. Return back to the refuge for overnight. The last day will be from the refuge to Imlil where we will have lunch before transfer back to Marrakech.
This is the itinerary of our three days toubkal trek from Marrakech:
Day one: Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal refuge. Departure from Marrakech by vehicle to Imlil, starting point of your hike, meeting with our team, guide and muleteers, you will start your first day of walking, a regular climb will take you past by village Around, and Marabout sidi chamharouch, a place for all the pilgrims coming from all over the regions of Morocco, to cure the sick people bewitched by the bad spirit, a pose will be the Bienne came, then you will continue your walk south to the refuge of Toubkal, lunch, installation of your luggage , night at Refuge Toubkal, 5 to 6 hours of walking.
Day two: Refuge – Toubkal summit – Refuge. Very early in the morning, you will start to climb this beautiful summit which is the Toubkal, the highest in North Africa (4167m), a grandiose panorama on the southern part where is the massif of Siroua, the only massif in Morocco with saffron culture, towards the west the Mgoun in case the luminosity is very clear, all the plain of Haouz and all the summits around, then return to the refuge. Lunch & overnight. around 6 to 7h walk.
Day three: Refuge – Imlil – Marrakech. walk back down via the same route to imlil where we will have lunch before transfer back to Marrakech. around 4 to 5h walk + 1h30 drive to Marrakech.
