Hiking in Morocco

This is an excellent 5 days Hiking in Morocco experience. You will hike through the beautiful berber villages & valleys in the high atlas mountains near Marrakech city. You will finish the hike by climbing mount toubkal 4167m which is the highest peak in North Africa and in Morocco.
The Hiking in Morocco itinerary is as below:
On day one,
our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Then, you drive towards the high atlas mountains. It will take 1h30 drive. Once you get there, you will be met by our local team. After a tea break, you will set off hiking towards tizi n’Tacht pass. It will take around 2h walk uphill. You will take a short break on the pass before you carry on walking downhill. Then, you join a rough road that will lead you to Tahliouine village. Lunch on the way. Overnight at a berber lodge. It will take around 5h walk.
after breakfast, you will walk towards Azib Tamsoult ( 2256m). You will pass by a nice village called Tizi Oussem. After that, you will start walking uphill to Azib Tamsoult where you will have lunch & overnight at a refuge. It will take around 3h walk.
On day three,
after an early breakfast, you will walk from Azib Tamsoult to Lepiney Refuge ( 3000m) which is a very nice old alpine hut. You will have lunch & overnight. It will take around 4h walk.
On day four,
after an early breakfast, you will leave lepiney refuge behind. Then, you walk a bit downhill till you reach another trail. The latter will lead you to the zigzagging trail uphill to Tizi n’Aguelzim pass 3600m from where you will see the Toubkal peak and the basecamp. After a picnic lunch on the pass, you will walk dowhill to the Toubkal refuge where you will spend the night. It will take around 6 to 7h walk.
On day five,
The last day is the summit day. You wake up very early in the morning, and have breakfast. Then, you set off hiking to the Toubkal summit. It will take around 3h walk uphill. Once you reach the peak, you will enjoy the amazing views over the atlas mountains and summits. walk back down to the refuge where you will have lunch. After that, you will hike back to Imlil valley, and transfer back to Marrakech. It will take around 10h walk + 1h30 drive to Marrakech. Thats the end of our Hiking in Morocco experience.
