After breakfast, begin your journey towards Fes, with a stop in Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital and one of the country’s historic imperial cities. Take time to discover some of Rabat’s most important landmarks and experience the city’s unique blend of historic architecture and modern Moroccan life.
Continue east through the Moroccan countryside towards Fes, one of the country’s most fascinating cultural destinations.

Day 3: Exploring Fes
Enjoy a full day discovering Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. With a local guide, explore the ancient Fes el Bali Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its maze of narrow streets, traditional souks, historic mosques, madrasas and artisan workshops.
Discover highlights such as the Bou Inania Medersa, Attarine Medersa, Nejjarine Square, traditional tanneries and the historic souks. You will also have free time to wander through the atmospheric streets, shop for traditional crafts or simply enjoy the unique character of the old city.

Day 4: Fes – Merzouga – Sahara Desert
Today, leave Fes behind and travel south towards the spectacular Sahara Desert. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and continue through changing landscapes of rugged peaks, valleys and palm-filled oases. The journey takes you towards Erfoud and Rissani, historic gateways to the desert.
Continue to Merzouga, located beside the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival, experience a memorable camel ride across the golden dunes and watch the sunset over the Sahara.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at your desert camp beneath the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga – Dades Valley
Wake early to experience the spectacular Sahara sunrise before enjoying breakfast at camp. After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel towards the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley. Along the way, discover the changing scenery of southern Morocco, including palmfilled oases, traditional villages and ancient kasbahs.
Continue through the Todra Valley and Todra Gorge, where towering limestone cliffs rise dramatically above the road and valley floor. Later, continue towards the Dades Valley and settle into your accommodation surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, continue your journey through the spectacular landscapes of southern Morocco.
Travel through the Dades Valley and along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing traditional villages, palm oases and historic earthen architecture.
Continue to Ouarzazate, often known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” before visiting the magnificent Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages.
Take time to explore the ancient ksar and its maze of narrow lanes and traditional earthen buildings.
After your visit, continue towards Marrakech, crossing the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass through the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and check into your hotel or riad.
