From Aremd, continue along the mountain trail towards the famous shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, dramatically positioned beside the river and surrounded by rugged peaks. Take a short break here to enjoy the atmosphere and admire the nearby waterfall before continuing higher into the mountains.
The trail becomes steeper as you ascend towards the Toubkal Refuge, located at 3,207 metres. Upon arrival, settle into the refuge, enjoy a well-earned meal and take time to rest in preparation for the following day’s summit ascent.
