This 2 days Atlas Mountains Trek around berber villages & valleys is a worthwhile trip out of Marrakech city. You will spend two days exploring the high Atlas Mountains & valleys on foot.
The itinerary of this Atlas mountains Trek will as follows.
Day one:
On the first day, our drive will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech, and drive towards the starting point of your Atlas mountains trek. . Once you get there, you will meet the local team. After a welcome mint tea, you will set off trekking uphill to a pass which is called Tizi n’Tacht from where you will get amazing views over the Azzden valley. Take a short break on the pass before you carry on walking downhill to reach a rough road that will lead you to the Azzaden valley; you will pass by many nice berber villages such as Tahliouine village. Lunch will be serverd on the way before you reach the destination village which is called Tizi Oussem village where you will spend the night at a lodge. It will take around 5h walk. Overnight at a lodge in the village.
Day two:
The next day, you will have an early breakfast; then you start your hike towards Tizi Mezik pass from where you will get breathtaking views over Azzaden valley & Imlil valley. Then,you continue walking downhill to Imlil valley 1740m where you will have lunch at a guesthouse before transfer back to Marrakech. Later, you can go for a walk to visit Imlil valley if you want. Today, you will be walking around 5h. It will take 1h30 drive to Marrakech. Drop off & end of services. Check out our 3 days berber villages trek.
