Join us on this 7 days Morocco tour from Marrakech city. Our trip starts from Marrakech, and goes to Atlas Mountains & Sahara desert & Ocean.

 

This is a journey from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara Desert, and finally to the ocean is a captivating odyssey through Morocco’s diverse landscapes. leaving the vibrant streets of Marrakech, you ascend into the majestic Atlas Mountains, where snow-capped peaks and traditional Berber villages offer breathtaking views and a glimpse into the region’s rich culture. In addition, from there, the road leads to the endless golden dunes of the Sahara Desert, where camel treks and star-studded nights create unforgettable memories. As the desert fades into the distance, the journey concludes at the Atlantic Ocean, where coastal towns like Essaouira invite you to relax by the sea, savor fresh seafood, and bask in the tranquil beauty of the ocean breeze. This route is a sensory feast, showcasing Morocco’s extraordinary natural and cultural treasures.

 

Itinerary:

On first day of your 7 days Morocco tour, you will be met at the airport and transfer to your accommodation in Marrakech for overnight. Moreover, arriving in Marrakech is like stepping into a vibrant tapestry of colors, sounds, and scents. The city greets you with its bustling energy, from the lively streets of the Medina to the hypnotic rhythms of Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The warm hues of the ancient walls, the aroma of spices wafting from souks, and the calls of street vendors create an atmosphere that is both chaotic and enchanting. As the day winds down, the city’s charm deepens with the glow of lantern-lit alleys and the soothing ambiance of a traditional riad, offering a perfect introduction to Marrakech’s magical allure.

The next day

you will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech, and drive towards the high Atlas Mountains where you spend the night at a guesthouse. It will take around 1h30 drive. you will check in at the guesthouse before you go on a short guided hike in a beautiful valley called imlil valley 1740m. The hike will take around 2h walk. lunch in a local Cafe. Later in the day, you return back to the lodge to relax. Overnight

Today, after an early breakfast at the lodge, you will get picked up and drive to Dades valley. the journey from Imlil Valley to Dades Valley is a mesmerizing traverse through some of Morocco’s most dramatic landscapes. However, leaving the lush green foothills of the Atlas Mountains, dotted with terraced fields and traditional Berber villages, the road winds through rugged mountain passes and arid terrains. As you descend, the scenery transforms, revealing the striking red and ochre tones of the Dades Valley, often referred to as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” The drive is peppered with breathtaking viewpoints, ancient mud-brick fortresses, and clusters of palm groves, offering glimpses of the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region. By the time you reach the Dades Gorge, the towering rock formations and winding roads promise an unforgettable experience. Check in at a guesthouse in Dades valley for overnight. Around 7h drive.

 

Then,

you will drive from Dades valley to Merzouga dunes where you will spend the night at a camp. The drive from Dades Valley to Merzouga is a spectacular journey through Morocco’s diverse and ever-changing landscapes. Leaving the rugged canyons of Dades behind, the road meanders past ancient kasbahs, quaint villages, and vast palm groves that line the oasis towns of the region. As you travel deeper into the south, the landscape becomes increasingly arid, with rocky plateaus giving way to sandy plains. Along the way, you’ll pass through iconic stops like the Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs create a dramatic natural corridor. As you approach Merzouga, the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise majestically from the horizon, signaling your arrival at the gateway to the Sahara Desert, where adventure and tranquility await. Ride camels to the camp near big dunes.

 

Today,

you will start a bit earlier from Merzouga to Marrakech because it is a long drive. The drive from Merzouga to Marrakech is a breathtaking journey that showcases the diversity of Morocco’s landscapes. Leaving the golden dunes of the Sahara behind, the route takes you through vast desert plains and past small, sun-baked villages. As the journey continues, you’ll traverse the dramatic Ziz Valley with its lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs, then wind through the stunning High Atlas Mountains. The rugged mountain roads, with their switchbacks and panoramic views, offer glimpses of snow-capped peaks and traditional Berber settlements perched on hillsides. Descending into the plains, the vibrant energy of Marrakech awaits, marking the perfect end to an unforgettable adventure through Morocco’s heartland. Around 9h drive. Overnight

 

This day is for a day trip to te Atlantic Ocean, namely to Essaouira city.

A day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira offers a refreshing escape to the Atlantic coast. The drive, about two and a half hours, takes you through scenic landscapes of argan tree groves, where you might spot goats climbing the branches. As you approach Essaouira, the salty ocean breeze welcomes you to this charming coastal town. Known for its whitewashed walls, blue shutters, and laid-back vibe, Essaouira is perfect for exploring the historic medina, strolling along the picturesque harbor, and savoring fresh seafood by the beach. Whether wandering through art galleries, visiting the bustling souks, or relaxing on the sandy shores, Essaouira’s blend of history and seaside charm makes for a delightful getaway. Return back to in the evening.

The last day in Marrakech on your 7 days Morocco tour, you will be transferred to Marrakech airport depending on you flight time.
