Join our 5 days climbing mount toubkal from Marrakech city. It is an amazing trek at a relaxing pace. You will reach this highest peak ( Toubkal summit 4167m) in Morocco in five days.

The itinerary of our 5 days climbing mount toubkal is as below:

First day, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech, and drive to imlil valley 1740m. It will take around 1h30 drive. Once you get there, you will be met by our local team. Then, you will check in at a guesthouse where you will spend the night. After putting your luggage in the lodge, you will go on short guided hike around some berber villages. Stop for lunch in the outdoors. In the late afternoon, you return back to the lodge for overnight. 1h30 drive from Marrakech to imlil + 2h walk.

The next day, after an early brealfast, you will set off trekking towards the basecamp passing via chamharouch shrine. Lunch stop on the way. After that, you will carry on walking uphill to the refuge where you will spend the night. It will take around 5 to 6h walk.

On the third day, it’s the Toubkal summit day. After an early breakfast at the refuge, you will start the climb to mount toubkal summit. It will take around 3h up. Once you get to the top, you will surely enjoy breathtaking views over the hight atlas mountains & peaks. After a short break on the top, you will return back via the same route to the basecamp. It will take around 3h walk down. Lunch at the refuge & overnight.

The fourth day, again after an early breakfast, you will climb another 4068m peak which is called Ras n’Ouankrim. It’s uphill & a bit technical at few points where you will use your hands. Once you reach this peak, you will get wonderfull views. after a short break to take pictures, you will get back via the same route to the basecamp where you will spend the night again. around 6h walk.

The last day, after breakfast, you will walk back down via the same route to imlil valley where you will have lunch before transfer back to Marrakech. It will take around 4 to 5h walk + 1h30 drive to Marrakech.

Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil valley 1740m.

Pick up from your hotel in Marrakech, and drive to imlil valley. 1h30 drive. Check in at a lodge before you go on a short guided trek around some berber villages in the valley. Lunch in the outdoors. walk back to the lodge for overnight. 2h walk.

Day 5: Refuge 3207m - Imlil 1740m - Marrakech

After breakfast at the refuge, you return back walking downhill via the same route to imlil valley where you will have lunch before transfer bakc to Marrakech. It will take around 4 to 5h walk +1h30 drive to Marrakech.
